About me

I’ve been making games ever since I was a preteen making mods for Neverwinter Nights. I’ve long-since been enamored with the way games can elevate stories to be personally compelling for players and the unique story-telling opportunities they provide. From small indie mobile titles to massive AAA RPGs, I’ve been lucky enough to work on a huge variety of games and brands, across a variety of disciplines and roles. I’ve led design teams, created full roadmaps and product lifecycles, been responsible for new game incubation for massive properties, and run a killer game of D&D. I’ve been described as “the rare combination of creative and production” and “the guy who knows everything about dragons”.

Outside of making games I run tabletop games for charity, take my dog on hikes in the beautiful pacific northwest, perform standup and improv comedy, and was formerly a political cartoonist.

Skills

What I do…

I have a great base of knowledge as a generalist I can build off of to quickly adapt to any team and project. This experience allows me to see the big picture and develop responsibly to make the game as strong as possible. Whether that’s through the creation of an awesome quest system, detailed schedules with crumple plans, or by leadership and good humor. As product owner, producer, or designer, I excel at keeping a project on track even amongst difficult headwinds.
